On Monday the NY Times reported that agents are going on board buses and trains searching for illegals.

I have to agree with the ACLU that this can be seen as racial profiling. Because a person doesn't appear "American" they must prove their citizenship or be detained. I do carry my driver's license most of the time, although that doesn't prove I am a citizen of the U.S. It is not a habit for me to carry my birth certificate. How many citizens are being wrongly accused of being an illegal? Is this right?
